Once we’ve got their attention, we dive into a formal pre-screen. Picture it like a first date, but for jobs. We’re not just talking about the role right off the bat; we want to know what makes them tick. What kind of work environment are they after? Are they the startup adventurer or the corporate pro?
We dig into all the nitty-gritty details – from the type of culture they’re looking for to their career goals. That way we can be clear on whether this really aligns with their career aspirations.
Now, if we see potential in that first call, we start talking specifics. What does our client want? What are the must-haves? If they’re into Python and Java, we want the lowdown on their experience with each.
If our recruiters think they’ve found a match, it’s time for the second screening. A quick video call to see if they’ve got the soft skills and, depending on the role, a dash of leadership charm. We’re also looking for potential gaps and getting the lowdown on their job market activity.
It’s only then that we present our ideal candidates to clients. We highlight why they’re a great fit, any red flags we spotted, and what they’re looking for. Of course, the client gets to decide who they want to interview. We’ll either schedule interviews then and there, or head back to the drawing board, tweaking our search based on feedback.
Finally, we make sure to coordinate interviews strategically because no one wants to lose out on a great candidate because of bad timing! It’s a dance of calendars and quick calls to lock in the perfect interview time.
